San Girolamo consists of six buildings, a main one 364 sq. m. big set at the centre of the park. The farmhouse provides 8+2 beds, in 2 bedrooms with 2 king-size beds, 2 rooms with 4 queen-size beds and a living room with a fireplace equipped with a double-bed-sofa. The farmhouse has 3 bathrooms.
Lovingly restored and fitted with every comfort, San Girolamo has the flavour of the old houses where time seems to have stopped letting your emotions flow freely at the passing of seasons. The restoration works, just finished, have been made with valuable materials. The floors of the house are of pink terracotta handmade smooth tiles, the ceilings are all made of its original materials or old material with terracotta exposed bricks and chestnut or old oak beams, luxury finishing with attention paid to the smallest detail in order to recreate a pleasant and relaxing environment in line with the atmosphere of the place. On the ground floor you can find an entrance, an office, a toilet , a wide sitting room with double window and a big kitchen dining room where you can see a nice typical tuscan fireplace, a store-room and a laundry room.
Upstairs, where you can get through an inside staircase (but also from outside) you can find a big living room with a fireplace and four large gracefully decorated bedrooms, and two large and comfortable bathrooms fitted with whirpool bath and jet-shower.
The big garden surrounding the house boasts more than 2 ha of olive and ancient trees, such as the big cluster pine acting as identifier of the place from a few km away, or the outstanding ancient tree which welcomes you in the yard facing the farmhouse and which makes you enjoy relaxing moments under its shadows as well as under the shadows of the oaks and cypresses or enjoy your favourite readings also in the evening in the covered reading corner with panoramic views... In this paradise you can lay down on the edges of the small swimming pool with whirlpool, situated in a separate place derived from an old stone outbuilding completely restored and with large windows from where you can admire the wonderful landscapes while cuddled in the pool. The beauty of the farmhouse, the quality of its decoration, the friendliness of its owners and the quietness of the places make Podere San Girolamo a wonderful place to taste the art of living well in a healthy and natural way.
